        The term “ex-abundanti cautela” means “out of abundant caution”. It means “extreme caution”. It supports the principle of interpretation as to “literal interpretation”.

        This explains why lawyers use many words where few may be enough because it is believed that it is better to use as many words as possible so as not to leave any room for guess concerning what is being expressed.
