Caveat actor

Caveat actor means “let the doer beware”. This is a common law maxim. Caveat actor is used as a warning that the doer of an action should be beware of his/her act. The burden of the action would be on the doer of the act. The person will have to bear the consequence of the act if not otherwise provided in any agreement.
