A Posteriori (अनुभवजन्य)An argument based upon the subsequent actual observation or upon experimental data. Such argument/ observations are not existing in the mind prior to or independent of the subsequent observations. A Priori (अनुमानतः/ संभवत)An argument/ ovservation derived from previous event. The Latin phrases a priori (‘from the earlier’) and a posteriori (‘from the later’) are philosophical terms popularized by Immanuel Kant’s “Critique of Pure Reason”. |
